Beautiful, but terrible quality controlDec 22, 2010
By William McNeill
The design is beautiful and the details are terrific, but I think they packed it before the paint was dry. Some of it rubbed off on the plastic packaging and when I opened it, I was overwhelmed by the smell of paint. This is the second McFarlane dragon I've bought and both have had these kind of weird quality control issues. I'm not sure what's going on at the manufacturing plant, but Todd McFarlane as the brand owner should really look into it. Like the other poster here, I also had trouble making the dragon stand correctly. Other than that, once I manhandled it into place, I think it looks great.

The left leg of this dragon is not touching the ground normally, so I use just the rock and its tail to make it stand. Other than that, nice figurine

Another great looking dragon with a nicely sculpted painted body. Mine doesn't stand exactly flat, the one leg is bowed causing the problem.
