4Wingless dragonMar 17, 2006

Very cool sculpt. I love the look of the animal shell and bone designed armor. This figure is also quite large compared to some of the other recent McFarlane Dragons!

Oddly wingless, however, the Komodo feels more like a giant bi-pedal lizard man than a dragon.

Unfortunately, this one falls victim to the base/posing problems this series has been so prone to, in a big way.

The giant tail hangs far below the base, once attached. This means the entire figure + base tip forward, and usually fall over. The tail is designed to bend, but it is SO thick, and the wire bend starts and ends just a tad too far on each side, so that getting it flat out behind him and getting the figure not to tip is difficult. Again, I had to use hot water to mold the tail (I hope these figures don't rust on the inside...)

I love this series, but I REALLY wish they could get the bases and posing to work without being such a pain!

The Komodo is probely my favorite dragon of series 3. It has intricate details as well as an original concept. Of course, it has no wings but the size and ideas make up for it. This dragon wears spiked green armor turtle shells, chains (painted gold/copper), a bone mask (that has been broken), and has long slithering claws (with gold/copper rings). The arms can rotate at the wrist and elbows. His neck can turn and his tail is bendable (WARNING - This dragons tail is THICK. It takes a bit of stregth to bend the tail above the base). AND, this is one of the few dragons in which you can reposition the arms/head and they still look good without being off colored/textured.

Okay, so I bought this product from TexasToyz.com. All was good until I received it. I got the wrong dragon series komodo clan. However I looked up the price of the new dragon and it turned out to be worth three times what I paid. It is pretty good I guess. But get it together inventory staff!

520 ducats for a Dragon? Sold!Nov 21, 2013

This is a high quality replica of a walking dragon. His posture says "Hey look at me I am a dragon, but, not just any dragon, a dragon that walks, covered in spikes no less. Totally worth the 20 ducats.

This is quite fun toy but not so durable as the other toys I have ordered but it doesn't mean that I don't like it. I like this toy really much. Thank you, I really enjoy to do business with you Amazon.com.
